After the demise of the cygnet, the swans now seem to have returned to their normal affable selves. The 'Cage" that the council built to protect them has been removed, as has the nest. All we have to contend with at the moment, is the layer of feathers from the swans after their annual moult and the other detritus that normally floats on the surface of the pond.
So, peace has returned to the pond, and we can now return to the peaceful co-existence with the wildlife, that we have grown accustomed to over many years.
Stay safe everyone and watch the wildlife.
